The stone is tiny I got the 2mm, which is what I wanted it won't get caught on anything, about 1/4 a grain of rice in size. I did reorder the backing though an 8 in length was to long, definitely would have gone for a 6 the peircing is in my forward helix and didn't fit comfortably length wise but that's my bad great quality product 5 stars all around experience!
