Wanted to get a nose stud that wouldnt fall out (like L screws), bother the inside of my nostril (like spiral screws), hurt (like nosebones), or were difficult (like screw-ons). This one is a little more difficult than L or nosebones, but easy when pinching them in nails instead of finger pads carefully in front of a mirror. You get the hang of it. I've been wearing this one through sleep, showers, etc and it hasn't fallen out or hurt!
